잘록한 나뭇토막 혹은 모자 쓴 얼굴처럼 보이기도 하는 둥근집에는 천장에서부터 매달린 거대한 오브제가 있는데 얼핏보면 미국집의 벽난로 같다. 사실은 주방후드이지만 천창의 빛을 반사해 집안으로 산란시킬때 오히려 제 몫을 더 톡톡히 한다. 핏덩이처럼 붉은 대리석벽을 머리맡에 두고 침대에 누우니 천장, 벽 할 것 없이 공간들이 내 발 아래로 모인다. 누운건지 선건지 잠시 헷갈린다.
